Training for the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)

For many of our clients, ACCA training has meant the expense of either:

  • travelling outside the South West for block release courses, or
  • time consuming day release courses.

As a result of encouragement from our clients, our AAT students and the ACCA South Western District Society, Accountancy Plus started in September 2009 delivering cost effective ACCA training in Exeter, saving you travel and accomodation costs.

The knowledge modules are computer-based exams and are exempt for students who are AAT qualified.  The Skills, Essentials, and Options exams are all paper based.  The pass mark required is 50%.

We are building up gradually our delivery of the course and started in September 2009 with Taxation and Auditing as the majority of our students were progressing from AAT and so this was fresh in their minds. For the June 2010 sitting we will be delivering Taxation, Auditing, Financial Reporting and Corporate Law.

In September 2010 we will introduce support for students who need to sit the Knowledge Modules.

How is the Course Delivered?

In order to be as flexible as possible, there are many different options to choose from:

  • Distance Learning (DL) - Traditional study packs and marked progress tests supported by online learning materials with online question banks
  • Taught course - as per DL plus a Kick Start session and a three to five day revision course per exam

Summary of what you get

  • Kick Start day
  • Issue of study manuals and a detailed study plan
  • Access to online interactive learning materials
  • Marked Progress tests
