NVQ Levels 2 and 3 in Business Administration.

This practical day release course is ideally suited for those in business who would like a qualification to match their working knowledge and help them get ahead. Getting this qualification gives learner’s a broad foundation of knowledge, which they can build on and move into more specific areas of business, giving them the knowledge and confidence to thrive in a working environment.

The units are individually assessed by course work with an overall grade awarded to all learners who successfully complete all units. Taught one day a week over two academic years, this is a practical, work related course for someone who wants to develop their career.

In a world which is consumed by computers and the digital world this course offers a practical way to learn the skills you need to get ahead, With a dedicated computing lab, learners have the opportunity to create a windows domain and multi pc network. Learners can chose to study all 9 units or they can study individual units to enhance an area relevant to their work or skill gap:
Employability and communication skills
Assessment of the course is through written and practical course work and is taught for one day a week, and if completing all the units runs over two academic years. A great course if you want to progress into Web Design or technical support.

Learner Support Fund
The Learner Support Fund is available for students who require financial assistance for essential course costs, such as materials, uniforms and travel. It is available for students who are:
- aged over 19 (as at the 31st August) studying up to and including a Level 2 course
- aged 19-23 years old studying Level 3 course
Advanced Learner Loan
Aged 19 or over and thinking about studying? You may qualify for an Advanced Learner - a Government loan - to pay your course fee if you are aged 19 or over studying at Level 3 to 6.
- Advanced Learner Loans are designed to work in the same way as students studying degrees to recieve a higher education loan. How much you repay is linked to what you earn after your studies.
- An Advanced Learner Loan could be used to support your studies in a range of courses: A Level, Access to HE Diplomas, vocactional qualifications, eligible level 3 and Level 4 RQF Certificates and Diplomas, and other eligible courses at Level 5 and 5.
- The amount of money you can borrow depends on your course. The minimum you can borrow is £300. Ensure you check all course fee details before submitting your loan application
- There is also no credit check when applying and house income is also not taken into account.

Loan repayments are linked to what you earn when you've finished your course, not how much you borrowed; you only need to start paying back your Advanced Learner Loan when you've finished your course and you're earning more than £21,000 a year.
